Dibiyapur is an industrial town and a nagar panchayat in Auraiya district in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India. It is linked to Phaphund railway station on North Central Railway.
Location
Dibiyapur town is located on North Central Railway line between Kanpur Crental and Etawah at a distance 82 kilometer from Kanpur in the west .Its station name is Phaphund and its fall mid of the town . District head quarter Auraiya in south and Kannauj , Rasulabad are situated in north.

Dibiyapur is located on Delhi-Howrah Train Route. The town is well connected by railways by a local railway station called Phaphund. Where fast and super fast trains are available. viz.

It is well connected by road and connected to Auraiya (Its district and distance 20 km), which is located on the Mughal Road. Also it is connected to Kannauj (Distance 60 km), which is located on the Historical Grand Trunk Road.
The nearest Airport located at Chakeri, Kanpur.[1] Its distance from the town is approx 127 km. Regular flights from Delhi and Kolkata operating from here.

As of 2011 India census,[5] Dibiyapur had a population of 27,000. Males constitute 53% of the population and females 47%. Dibiyapur has an average literacy rate of 76%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 80% and, female literacy is 72%. In Dibiyapur, 14% of the population is under 6 years of age
Industry
Dibiyapur is a notable industrial town of Auraiya district which has installations of India's leading Public Sector Enterprises viz.
- Cycle power plant of NTPC Ltd.[6] (earlier National Thermal Power Corporation)
- Petrochemical plant.
- Gas compressor station of GAIL[7] (earlier Gas Authority of India Limited).
New township
Petrochemical plant established here employs employees in thousands and live in GAIL Gaon, a small village specially for GAIL employees.GAIL has also established a compressor station near GAIL Gaon a Gas Plant near that one more residential society of GAIL is established GAIL Vihar just as same as GAIL GAON, a small, well-facilitated colony for the Gail employees working in GAIL compressor station. A residential township is also built for NTPC employees. The town has a big market named Kakrahi Baazar on the main road.
