In a charter from the Monastery of San Vicente in Oviedo dated 4 December 1083, Fernando and his brother, Count Rodrigo Díaz, donated the villa known as Sancti Petri, for the redemption of their souls. They mention that part of this property had been acquired by their sister, Aurovita Díaz, as part of the dowry given to her by her husband Munio Godestéiz.[4]
