Dominion Enterprises is a Norfolk, Virginia-based media and information services company for the automotive and commercial vehicle, real estate, apartment rental and travel industries. It has Internet and printed media operations. Dominion Enterprises was established in September 2006 by Landmark Media Enterprises (formerly Landmark Communications), following a division of assets of its predecessor company, Trader Publishing, between shared owners Landmark and Cox Enterprises.[1]

Landmark Media Enterprises, Frank Batten, Jr, (Chairman and CEO), Jack J. Ross (President and COO), Theresa F. Blevins (CFO), Susan R. Blake (VP of HR), Melodi Albert (VP of Management Development Training and Recruiting) along with Landmark Media Enterprises subsidiary Dominion Enterprises, Inc. are currently defendants in a federal lawsuit. The matter is currently before the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals in Richmond, VA.[2]

Dominion Enterprises provides advertising, marketing services, and software solutions for dealers and private party sellers. Consumer brands include ForRent.com, Franchise Solution, Franchise Cost, FranchiseOpportunities.com, Franchise.com, Homes.com, and HotelCoupons.com,[3] as well as specialty niche titles including GetAuto, CarLoan.com, Boats.com, YachtWorld.com, BoatTrader.com, CycleTrader.com, CommercialTruckTrader.com, EquipmentTraderOnline.com and RVTrader.com.[4]

The company also develops technology for commercial customers – from Web site design and hosting to Internet and e-mail marketing to data management and distribution. These services are geared toward helping businesses reach consumers.[5]
