The Slaughtering Grounds is an indie first-person shooter game developed by ImminentUprising and published by Digital Homicide Studios. It was released on 31 October 2014 on Steam.
The game was criticized for its poor graphics, glitches, controls, short music loops, and use of pre-made models and textures not made by the developer.[1] It also received a review by Jim Sterling formerly of The Escapist, in which he accused the developer of deleting negative feedback on the game from Steam's review page, as well as banning users who criticize it.[1] The developers responded by filing a take down notice over Sterling's video.[1]
In March 2016, a lawsuit was filed against Sterling by Digital Homicide for 10 million dollars for "assault, libel, and slander".[2][3]
