Divine Realm is a Canadian atmospheric metal band, specifically the brainchild of multi-instrumentalist and songwriter Leo Diensthuber.[2] The four-piece is best known for applying virtuoso-esque technical lead guitar work over unique instrumental soundscapes, aiming to make music without vocals a new and expressive journey for listeners each time.[3]
Background
With musical roots in progressive metal, Divine Realm has been excitedly compared to genre influencers Animals as Leaders, Protest the Hero and Between the Buried and Me.[4] With much buzz surrounding them in the underground heavy metal music scene, Divine Realm recently received international recognition and praise on their third album Tectum Argenti upon its release in February 2016.[5] Divine Realm continues to experiment musically and remains current with their fan base via YouTube and Bandcamp.[6][7]
