Joshua "J.J. Gun" Ingram (born 17 December 1992) is a rock drummer and percussionist. Ingram is best known as the drummer for Hollywood metalcore band Vampires Everywhere![5]

He has also freelanced as a tour drummer for internationally loved bands The Defiled and Nylon Pink, as well as a Rolling Stone 2014 "best new artist",[6] DOROTHY.[7]

Career

2010: Ottawa Bluesfest

At the early age of 17, Ingram was the youngest musician to play the 2010 Ottawa Bluesfest.[8] This opportunity allowed Ingram to share the stage with Grammy winners Drake and Iron Maiden, along with personal childhood influence, Rush.[9] Here, Ingram established his trademark of playfully sticking out his tongue and performing non-stop "stick tricks" while still drumming to every song in time.

2012: Vans Warped Tour

Ingram's musical career emerged front and center on the Vans Warped Tour main stage when he drummed for 2012 headliner Vampires Everywhere! Other main acts on the tour included genre leaders Motionless in White, Every Time I Die and Sleeping with Sirens.[10] Ingram's wild stage presence did not go unnoticed in the drumming community. That summer, Ingram accepted artist endorsements from TRX, Los Cabos, and ddrum.[11][12][13]

2014 – present

Ingram recently toured in support of Billboard 200 bands In This Moment and Butcher Babies, drumming on the 2014 No Place Like Home Tour (U.K.)[14] and the 2015 Black Widow Tour (U.S.).[15] Ingram is currently on tour with Vampires Everywhere!, promoting their new full-length album Ritual, which is expected to be released March 2016.
