1. A famous 1967 example of the firm's expertise in Admiralty law was the arrest by a member of the firm, Anthony O'Connor, of the SS Lake Palourde at Singapore on behalf of the British government. This was in the aftermath of the loss of her sister ship the Torrey Canyon.
