Dublin University by-election, 1919
The Dublin University by-election of 1919 was held on 28 July 1919. The by-election was held due to the appointed to the Irish high court of the incumbent Irish Unionist MP, Arthur Warren Samuels. It was won by the Irish Unionist candidate William Morgan Jellett.[1] It was the last election to the UK Parliament to be held in the twenty six counties that would become the Irish Free State.
