It is hauled by a Visakhapatnam based WAM-4 or Lallaguda based WAP-4 Loco from Puri railway station to Ahmedabad after which a Vatva railway station|Vatva based WDM-3A locomotive hauls the train for the remainder of its journey until Okha.
