E2open is a provider of cloud-based, on-demand software for supply chains. The company was founded in 2000.[1]
E2open offers its products across a variety of industries, including high technology,[2] industrial manufacturing,[3] telecommunications,[4] life sciences, oil and gas,[5] consumer electronics, aerospace and defense, and consumer goods.[6]

According to the company's estimate, more than 41,000 trading partners and 140,000 unique registered users currently participate in the E2open Business Network.[7] E2open customers include Avnet,[8] Celestica,[9] Cisco,[10] HP,[11] IBM,[12] Lenovo,[13] L'Oréal,[14] Motorola Solutions,[15] Radisys,[16] Seagate Technology,[17] and Vodafone.[18]
In July 2012, E2open went public on the NASDAQ.[19] In July 2013, E2open announced that it acquired supply chain vendor ICON-SCM,[20] and in June 2014, E2open announced its acquisition of SERUS Corporation, a "cloud-based manufacturing and product management provider".[21] In March 2015, Insight Venture Partners announced that it had completed its acquisition of E2open.[22] In March 2016, E2open announced its acquisition of Terra Technology [23]
E2open is headquartered in Austin, Texas, with operations in Benelux, China, France, Germany, India, Malaysia, and the United Kingdom.[24]
