ETV+, also known as ETV3, is an Estonian state-run television channel, that was launched on 28 September 2015, and airs programmes in the Estonian and Russian languages.[1] The channel's budget for 2015 is 2.53 million euros. The chief of ETV+ is Darja Saar.[2]
The ETV+ name was chosen out of 360 submissions in a competition to find a name for the new channel. According to ERR board member Ainar Ruusaar, the plus sign "symbolizes synergy and positive development".[3]
