Ealing Independent College is an independent college in West London, located in the borough of Ealing in London. It prepares students aged 13 to 19 for higher education through the GCSE and A-Level programmes.

The College describes itself as a College that provides expert teaching, supportive individual help and guidance, with a proven track record of securing excellent examination results.[1][2][3]

The College is part of Bellevue Education.

History

Ealing Independent College was founded in 1992, and started out as Ealing Tutorial College. It moved to its current premises, close to Ealing Town Hall in 1996.[4] In 1998 the College started to offer GCSE and A-Level retakes, and in 2002 Dr Ian Moores took over as Principal.[5] The College was inspected by Ofsted in 2010 and was rated 'Outstanding' for its quality of teaching and assessment.[6] The College was acquired by Bellevue Education in 2015.[7]

Curriculum

Ealing Independent College offers the following courses:

Students can join the College for two year GCSE, two year A-Level, one year intensive courses and for their full fifth and sixth form education. The College also accepts external candidates for exam resits.[8]

Tuition Fees

The tuition fee for 2015-2016 is £14,410 pa for 3/4 GCSE subjects, £14,410 pa for 3/4 subjects on AS and £16,274 pa for 3/4 subjects on A2 level. Scholarships are available[9]

Extracurricular activities

Ealing Independent College offers clubs, activities and sports between classes and in the evenings: football team, art club, creative writing club, politics and economics society, medical science society, chess club.[10]
