Yeghvard (Armenian: Եղվարդ), is a town in the Kotayk Province of Armenia.
As of the 2011 census, the population of the town is 11,672.
Yeghvard is one of the oldest settlements in Armenia.
It is home to three medieval churches. At the center of the town is the small domed church of Surp Astvatsatsin also known as Yeghvard Church of 1301 with the foundation of another church adjacent, ruins of Katoghike Church, a large triple-nave basilica built in the 5th to 6th centuries located northwest of S. Astvatsatsin, and a small Saint Sargis Church. Near the church of S. Astvatsatsin located between houses is a Surp Astvatsatsin shrine. The shrine is a stepped pillar similar to one that may be seen in the town of Avan, and has a carving of a woman on three of the faces. A large new project will be made called Lakeside Resorts known as the Masis, Sis and New Armenia. It will be a 4 season paradise attracting tourists all year round. The project is expected to be completed by the year 2015.
