Elżbiecin [ɛlʐˈbjɛt͡ɕin] (German: Lisettenhof) is a settlement in the administrative district of Gmina Braniewo, within Braniewo County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland, close to the border with the Kaliningrad Oblast of Russia.[1] It lies approximately 3 kilometres (2 mi) west of Braniewo and 81 km (50 mi) north-west of the regional capital Olsztyn.
Before 1945 the area was part of Germany (East Prussia). Following World War II the native German populace was expelled and replaced by Poles.
