Emmanuel Christian School, Quebec

Emmanuel Christian School is a small private school located in Dollard-des-Ormeaux, Quebec, a suburb of Greater Montreal. EMCS is a school that bases its educational and religious values on the Christian Bible, while meeting or exceeding all of the educational requirements of the Ministre de l'Education, du Loisir et du Sport.

A dispute with another Montreal area private school named "Miss Edgar and Miss Cramps' School" has led to the use of the acronym "EMCS" instead of the previous "ECS".

EMCS offers both elementary as well as secondary enrollment from kindergarten up to grade 11. There is only one class per grade with between 10-25 students per class. Total enrollment for the entire school is roughly 360 students.

In 2009, Emmanuel Christian School opened a new French Sector High School. At the time, only a Grade 7 and 8 joint class was introduced. Each following year, a subsequent grade was added until all grades were enrolled. The French Sector High School has enrolled all grades from 7 to 11 since the 2012-2013 academic year. This addition resulted in an English Sector High School as well as a French Sector High School.

The Principal of the school is Mr. George Van Kampen. The Elementary Vice-Principal is Ms. Judy Ikegami.
