"Empty Threat" is a song by Scottish synthpop band Chvrches from their second studio album Every Open Eye. It was released as the fourth single on 19 October 2015 via Virgin and Goodbye Records.

Critical reception

The song received positive reviews. Despite positive critical reception, the song did not chart in any territory.

Music video

A music video for 'Empty Threat' was filmed at a Water park in suburban Florida at the end of August 2015, with Austin Peters as the director; Starring goth teenagers. it was released through Chvrches' YouTube channel on 20 November 2015.^[1]
