Flatulence fetishism

Flatulence fetishism, or eproctophilia[1][2] (more colloquially known as a fart fetish) is the sexual arousal by flatulence. One case, documented in the Archive of Sexual Behaviors by a University of Nottingham researcher, reports that eproctophiles "are said to spend an abnormal amount of time thinking about farting and flatulence and have recurring intense sexual urges and fantasies involving farting and flatulence."[3][4]

It has been suggested by Lauren Rosewarne in American Taboo that the high prevalence of flatulence fetishist material online is often considered humorous, and that many people find such material attractive due to its voyeuristic nature. Rosewarne also suggests that flatulence during a sex scene can convey intimacy and exploit gender stereotypes.[5]
