Estonian national road 11
National Road 11 (also known as Tallinna ringtee; Tallinn ring road) begins from Nehatu at the eastern border of Tallinn. The road forms a semi-orbital motorway around the city of Tallinn, intersecting with all the major national routes. The road is also a part of the European route E265. The highway ends at Keila, where it joins the T8. Due to increasing traffic figures, there have been plans to entirely convert this route into dual carriageway.
Route
The T11 is a part of the European route E265, together with the T8. For 8,7 km, the road is a dual carriageway. This number will increase significantly in near years, with the section between Jüri and Nehatu being transformed into a dual carriageway, and a section between Luige and Kanama. It has been speculated that in 2018, the Tallinn ring road will for most of its length be a dual carriageway. In 2016, numerous intersections (Lagedi intersection, Põrguvälja intersection) will be transformed into two-level interchanges.
