EVE: Valkyrie is a multiplayer dogfighting shooter game set in the Eve Online universe that is designed to use virtual reality headset technology. Eve: Valkyrie is set to be released on Microsoft Windows and the PlayStation 4 video game console. It is a launch title for Facebook's Oculus Rift and will launch with Sony's PlayStation VR.[1][4][5] During development, it was called EVE-VR. CCP Games announced on December 9, 2015 that the game would come bundled with every pre-order of the Oculus Rift, which launched on March 28, 2016.[6] On April 5, 2016 CCP Games announced that EVE: Valkyrie will be released on HTC Vive in 2016.[7]
