Ewan Bailey (born 1966) is an actor, writer and voice artist located in Central London, best known for writing and performing in The Sunday Format, BBC Radio 4's satire of British Sunday newspapers, Funland, BBC Three's darker than dark comedy set in the English seaside town of Blackpool, HBO's recent epic series Rome and the recent, highly acclaimed bio-pic of Kenneth Williams: Fantabulosa!.

Work

He was recently seen playing the character Donnie, a series regular, in ITV's comedy/drama Honest (starring "Amanda Redman")

His is a well known documentary voice artist. Providing narration for "Channel 4", the National Geographic, History, Biography and Discovery Channels.

He also founded Rubbaball, a small scale comedy theatre company.

His father, Dr Bruce Thomson, was a rugby union player who played for Scotland.

Bailey was educated at Brighton College and Keble College, Oxford, where he took a Master's degree in Modern History, and then at the Central School of Speech and Drama in London.

Bailey also gave his voice to the Heavenly Hosts in the Doctor Who Christmas special named Voyage of the Damned (Doctor Who) in 2007.
