Father Brown, Detective
Father Brown, Detective is a 1934 American mystery film directed by Edward Sedgwick and starring Walter Connolly, Paul Lukas and Gertrude Michael.[1] It is based on the Father Brown story "The Blue Cross" by G.K. Chesterton.
The picture was essentially remade in 1954 as Father Brown with Alec Guinness and Peter Finch, inasmuch as it too was based on "The Blue Cross".
