Football league system in the United Arab Emirates
This is the current setup of the football league system in the UAE.
The tables below show the current makeup of the UAE Football League system. The UAE Football League sits at the top of the pyramid and currently two teams get promoted/relegated between the UFL and Division 2 Group A.
Although Division 2 Group A and Division 2 Group B would make it feel that both leagues are played at the same level, this is not the case. In theory, they are level 2 and level 3. Again, two teams are promoted/relegated between both levels.
