Awards Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross

Friedrich Hauber (1 March 1916 – 5 October 1944) was a highly decorated Hauptmann in the Fallschirmjäger during World War II. He was also a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross. The Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross was awarded to recognise extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership. Friedrich Hauber was killed on 5 October 1944 in an automobile accident in Italy.
