Gaisano Malls is a chain of shopping malls under the DSG Sons Group.

History

The history of Gaisano Malls traces to the previous endeavour of the Gaisano family which was the establishment of the White Gold Super Store in Cebu City in the 1970s by Doña Modesta Gaisano, which is considered as the predecessor of the Gaisano Malls. After the death of Gaisano matriarch in 1981 , the business was split between her sons David, Stephen, Henry, Victor, and John leading to the funding of five separate companies under the Gaisanos.[1]

David Gaisano established the DSG Sons Group, Inc. which opened four mall branches under the Gaisano Malls brand in the 1980s in Davao City, Digos, General Santos, and Tagum. The four Gaisano Malls are the biggest shopping malls in Mindanao.[1]
