KCC Malls is a chain of shopping malls originated in Koronadal, South Cotabato, Philippines.[1] It is owned by Koronadal Commercial Corporation and their headquarters is situated in General Santos City. KCC currently has 4 Malls in operation in General Santos, Koronadal and Zamboanga City. It is considered as one of the major mall developers in Mindanao (the other being NCCC Malls, which is based from Metro Davao in Davao Region, KCC Malls' base neighbouring region).
History
KCC started in 1951 as a textile store in Koronadal. It then expanded in 1989 into a supermarket and department store as KCC Shopping Center. In 1992, KCC opened its first store in General Santos City called KCC Warehouse Plaza, which was later renamed as KCC Mall of Gensan in 1996.
After four years, KCC Shopping Center expanded into KCC Mall of Marbel.
KCC expanded outside SOCCSKSARGEN with the groundbreaking of its newest mall in Zamboanga City in October 10, 2012. On-going construction began on November 2012 and will be opened December 10, 2015.
