The Gender Park is a first of its kind venture aimed at gender studies and gender equality, located in India. It is an autonomous institution promoted by the Department of Social Justice, Government of Kerala State, India, to resolve the gender inequity in development. It acts as a convergence centre for gender-related education, activities, entrepreneurship training and capacity development, in the spheres of social, cultural, human, economic and political development. The institution has its headquarters at Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala and its Chief Executive Officer is P T Mohammed Sunish who is also the Managing Director of Kerala State Women's Development Corporation. The Gender Park's main 24 acre campus is located in Calicut, India.[1][2] [3]

The Campus

Gender Park Campus at Vellimadukunnu in Kozhikode

The Gender Park will act as an umbrella under which all gender related exercises will be carried out in the state. The primary grounds of the Gender Park has been set up on 24 acres of land at Vellimadukunnu in the district of Kozhikode in Kerala. The first of its kind in India, the campus will incorporate Research and Learning, Socio-cultural and Economic and Administrative Clusters.
