Genesis is the debut studio album by Odd Future member Domo Genesis. It was released on March 24, 2016 through Odd Future Records and RED Distribution.

Background

On November 13, 2013, Domo Genesis stated that he was working on his debut studio album.[1] On February 17, 2016, Domo tweeted that he has finished his debut studio album and it is turned in.[2] On March 10, 2016, Domo released the lead single "Dapper" featuring Anderson .Paak, and produced by Garcia Bros.[3] On the same day the pre-order, track listing and release date were revealed.[4] A music video for "Dapper" was later released on March 24, 2016. It contains cameos from Jasper Dolphin, Tyler, The Creator, Taco, OG Juan, Left Brain and Hodgy Beats.[5]

On March 17, 2016, Domo released the second and final single "Go (Gas)" featuring Wiz Khalifa, Juicy J, and Tyler, The Creator, and produced by Tyler, The Creator.[6] The full album was released digitally through Odd Future Records on March 24, 2016, and physically on March 25, 2016. The album contains features from Tay Walker, Da$H, King Chip, Mac Miller and JMSN, among others, and production from Mike & Keys, Christian Rich, Left Brain, SAP and Sha Money XL, among others.
