History
Genoa Township is named after Genoa, New York.[2]

According to the 2010 census, the township has a total area of 36.12 square miles (93.6 km2), of which 36.04 square miles (93.3 km2) (or 99.78%) is land and 0.09 square miles (0.23 km2) (or 0.25%) is water.[1]
