Geoff Cridge (born 6 February 1995) is a New Zealand rugby union player who currently plays as a lock for Hawke's Bay in the ITM Cup[1][2] and the Hurricanes in Super Rugby.[3][4]

Career

Originally from Christchurch, Cridge received a strong rugby schooling at Christchurch Boys' High School before heading north to link up with the Hawke's Bay Magpies in late 2013.[4] He was initially a member of their development and under-20 sides, however he did graduate to the senior team to make one appearance during the 2014 ITM Cup.[1] Despite this lack of experience, Cridge was given a 3-year contract by the Hurricanes ahead of the 2015 Super Rugby season.[3]

International career

Cridge was a member of the New Zealand Under-20 side which competed in the 2014 IRB Junior World Championship in their home country.[5][6]
