Mark Abbott (born 20 February 1991) is a New Zealand Rugby Union player who currently plays as a lock or loose forward for Hawke's Bay in the ITM Cup[1][2] and the Hurricanes in Super Rugby.[3][4]

Career

Abbott made his senior debut for Hawke's Bay during the 2013 ITM Cup and made 11 starting appearances at the Magpies reached the Championship final.[2] His impressive displays saw him rewarded with a Super Rugby contract for the 2014 season where he will turn out for the Wellington based Hurricanes.[3]
