George Washington State Park & Camp Area

George Washington State Park & Camp Area is a state park on the Putnam Pike (Route 44) near the village of Chepachet in the town of Glocester, Rhode Island.

The park contains 3,500 acres of protected forest land (George Washington Memorial State Forest) and a 100 acre primitive camping area without electrical hookups. The park contains Bowdish Reservoir and two smaller ponds.^[1]
