George Williams was an American football coach in the United States. He is one of the few college-level coaches to have coached an entire season of eight or more games without a victory. In William's case, his team not only failed to win a game but also gave up more than 50 points to opponents three times in one season and gave up an average of just over 40 points per game while scoring only three points for the entire season.[1]
Coaching career
Williams was the sixth head football coach for the Kansas Wesleyan University Coyotes located in Salina, Kansas and he held that position for the 1919 season. His coaching record at Kansas Wesleyan was 0 wins, 8 losses, and 0 ties and his team was outscored 327 to 3 by opponents. As of the conclusion of the 2009 season, this ranks him last in total wins and winning percentage at the school.
