Member of Parliament and its former chairman, Gholam-Ali Haddad-Adel registered for the upcoming election as one of the Progression Alliance along with Mohammad-Bagher Ghalibaf and Ali-Akbar Velayati.[1] He withdrew on 10 June 2013 in favor of conservative candidates.[2]
