Giồng Trôm is a rural district of Bến Tre Province in the Mekong Delta region of Vietnam. As of 2003 the district had a population of 186,719.[1] The district covers an area of 311 km². The district capital lies at Giồng Trôm.[1] This district is the homecountry of Phan Văn Trị. The commune Mỹ Thạnh has the famous speciality: Mỹ Lồng rice paper.
The district includes Phước Long, Giồng Trôm.
