Gilberto Viadana (born February 9, 1973 in Milan, Italy) is a former Italian figure skater. He competed in several world junior figure skating championships, European and World Championships and in addition the 1992 and 1998 Winter Olympic Games. He was the first male Italian skater to delivered a 3axel in competition. After his competitive career, he became a coach. He coached in Milano and reached with his student the National Championship, European, World and Olympic Games ( Salt Lake City 2002 ). He moved to USA in 2004 to the Lake Placid Skating Club in Lake Placid, New York and became Director of the "Olympic Center Skating School" in 2008. Now he is currently teaching in Elmsford New York at Westchester Skating Academy. He is ISU Technical Specialist since 2004.
