Global Transportation Hub Authority
Global Transportation Hub Authority - in Regina Saskatchewan - is Canada's only autonomous and self-governing inland port authority. The statutory corporation is responsible for marketing, financing, planning and attracting investment for an inter-modal transfer and logistics facility in Regina.
The Global Transportation Hub consists of:
Canadian Pacific (CP) - the decision by CP to locate its new Intermodal Facility at the west edge of Regina is fundamental to the development of the GTH.
Loblaw Group of Companies - is Canada’s largest food retailer and a leading provider of drugstore, general merchandise and financial products and services.
Consolidated Fastfrate – One of the largest privately owned transportation and logistic services in Canada.
The Emterra Group – Emterra was awarded a 10-year contract by the City of Regina in 2012 as their curbside recycler.
Morguard Investments Limited - is one of Canada’s leading fully integrated real estate organizations, with more than 1,400 employees. They will provide leased facilities designed for the transportation and distribution sector.
Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority - is building their new 145,000 square foot liquor distribution warehouse at the GTH and is expected to be operational by the spring of 2015.
SaskPower – delivers electricity throughout the province, serving a diverse and sophisticated customer base of more than 467,000 customers. SaskPower’s team of dedicated employees is made up of over 2,600 permanent full-time employees in 71 communities.
