Gmina Książ Wielkopolski is an urban-rural gmina (administrative district) in Åšrem County, Greater Poland Voivodeship, in west-central Poland. Its seat is the town of Książ Wielkopolski, which lies approximately 15 kilometres (9 mi) east of Åšrem and 43 km (27 mi) south-east of the regional capital PoznaÅ„.

The gmina covers an area of 147.87 square kilometres (57.1 sq mi), and as of 2006 its total population is 8,429 (out of which the population of Książ Wielkopolski amounts to 2,724, and the population of the rural part of the gmina is 5,705).
