Gościęcin [ɡɔɕˈt͡ɕent͡ɕin] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Pawłowiczki, within Kędzierzyn-Koźle County, Opole Voivodeship, in south-western Poland.[1] It lies approximately 6 kilometres (4 mi) north-west of Pawłowiczki, 17 km (11 mi) south-west of Kędzierzyn-Koźle, and 43 km (27 mi) south of the regional capital Opole.
The Bryksy Cross is a cyclo-cross race held in Gościęcin'.
Before 1945 the area was part of Germany (see Territorial changes of Poland after World War II).
