"Go Wild in the Country" is a song by English new wave band Bow Wow Wow. It was released as a single from their album See Jungle! See Jungle! Go Join Your Gang, Yeah. City All Over! Go Ape Crazy.
Composition
"Go Wild in the Country" was written by Dave Barbarossa, Leigh Gorman, Malcolm McLaren and Matthew Ashman.[1]
Release
It was first released in 1982 and entered the UK Singles Chart in January, reaching No. 7 and staying for 13 weeks on the chart.[2][3] It was the first single by the band to not be produced by Malcolm McLaren.[4]
