Gorzyce [ɡɔˈʐɨt͡sɛ] is a village in Tarnobrzeg County, Subcarpathian Voivodeship, in south-eastern Poland. It is the seat of the gmina (administrative district) called Gmina Gorzyce.[1] It lies approximately 15 kilometres (9 mi) north-east of Tarnobrzeg and 72 km (45 mi) north of the regional capital Rzeszów.
Gorzyce has a population of 7,500, making it the sixth largest village in Poland, though following the information from the 1st September 2011, there are 15 642 people living in Gmina Gorzyce, and 10 005 people living in Gorzyce, that makes 72,81 % of Gmina Gorzyce population.
