Graham Mylne

Graham Mylne was a politician in Queensland, Australia. He was a Member of the Queensland Legislative Assembly.[1] He was the member for Warrego from 24 June 1867 to 18 September 1868.[2]

Graham Mylne was born on 15 October 1834 in St Andrews, Fife, Scotland and died on 5 April 1876 in Grafton, New South Wales, Australia.[2]

Early life

Graham Mylne was a former Ensign, then Lieutenant in the British Army from 1853 to 1861 (though he was on leave from 1859).[2]

He arrived in Australia in 1859 to manage the family grazing property Eatonswill, near Grafton. In 1864, he moved to Queensland where he managed a grazing property in the Maranoa district. He returned to Eatonswill in 1869, managing this property until his death in 1876.[2]
