Grapit is an unincorporated community in Glenn County, California.^[1] It is located on the Southern Pacific Railroad 4.5 miles (7.2 km) south of Orland,^[2] at an elevation of 220 feet (67 m).^[1] The name is a contraction of "gravel pit", several of which are in the area.
