Notes

  1. Alex Nelson replaced an injured Dwayne Grant http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/athletics/6950549.stm
  2. Turner achieved the A standard, after the selection, meaning that GBR were now permitted another athlete in the 100 m squad. Kwakye, who was previously selected for the 200 m was then put into her favoured distance, 100 m, and was replaced in the 200 m by Freeman. http://www.ukathletics.net/press-centre/news-archive/august-2007/article-22/
  3. 1 2 Ohuruogu was selected, just 1 day after her drugs ban was finished.
  4. Becky Lyne was originally supposed to compete, however injury forced her to pull out, just before the flight, and she was replaced by Meadows
  5. Weir had to pull out, due to injury http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/other_sports/disability_sport/6947854.stm
