GOPES helicopter
The Grupo de Operaciones Especiales (Special Operations Group, GOPES) are the operative tactical group of the Federal Police of Mexico.
Specialization
Their mission is to carry out a variety of operations such as:
- Hostage rescue
- Apprehension of highly dangerous criminals
- Counter-narcotics
- counter-terrorism
- Fight organized crime
It has 87 members, divided into groups of 8 to 12 operators.
