Hülya Esen (or Hyuliya Velieva, born 7 August 1989 in Uskudar, Istanbul) is a Turkish born female professional tennis player. Her parents are ethnical Turks, Muslims from Kircaali, Bulgaria.
Esen has a career high WTA singles ranking of 504, achieved on 9 July 2012. Esen also has a career high WTA doubles ranking of 406 achieved on 11 November 2013. Esen has won 6 ITF doubles titles.
Esen made her WTA main draw debut at the 2008 Gastein Ladies in the doubles event partnering Stefanie Haidner. Esen main draw debut at the 2010 İstanbul Cup in the doubles event partnering Derya Turhan.
