Harry John White (born 18 December 1994) is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for Boreham Wood on loan from League One side Barnsley F.C.

Early Career

After many years in the Coventry City FC Academy Harry White played at youth level for Redditch Utd, Cadbury Athletic & Stratford Town, then kick started his footballing career at 16 with Earlswood Town before moving to Midland League rivals Coventry Sphinx in 2012.[1] In March 2013 he moved on to Banbury United of the Southern League.[1] He left United at the end of the 2012–13 season to attend Lincoln Land Community College in Springfield, Illinois. He scored 38 goals in 25 games ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OFert1U8VBw ) and won a host of national USA soccer awards before finishing his studies in the United States.[2]

Club Career

Gloucester City

In his first game back at Banbury United White scored a hat-trick against Daventry F.C. resulting in a trial at Bristol Rovers. White then signed for National League North club Gloucester City following an impressive performance while scoring against "The Tigers" for Bristol Rovers in the Gloucestershire County Cup in October 2014.[1] He went on to play 27 games in the league, scoring a total of 7 goals.

Barnsley F.C.

He was signed by League One side Barnsley F.C. on a 2 year deal for an undisclosed fee in September 2015.[2] He made his debut for the "Tykes" on 6th October, coming on for Kadeem Harris 65 minutes into a 2–1 victory over Bradford City in the Football League Trophy.[3] After a very successful goalscoring spell in Barnsley's U21's and 11 appearances on the Barnsley bench, White was loaned out to Kidderminster Harriers.

Kidderminster Harriers (Loan)

White was signed on a 1 month initial loan deal, playing 7 games in the National League for the 'Harriers' where he scored 3 goals in his first 5 games.

Boreham Wood (Loan)

White then signed for fellow National League side Boreham Wood on loan for the remainder of the 2015-2016 season, scoring 2 goals in his first 4 games.
