Heaton Park is a stop on the Bury Line of Greater Manchester's light rail Metrolink system. The station is part of Ticketing Zone B, and is located at the corner of Whittaker Lane and Bury Old Road, with an entrance to Heaton Park.

Services

Services mostly run every 12 minutes on 2 routes, forming a 6-minute service between Bury and Manchester at peak times.

Connecting bus routes

First Greater Manchester's frequent 135 service calls outside the station towards Bury and Manchester. Local daytime Maytree Travel bus service 495 operates between Prestwich village and the nearby rural village of Simister and First service 484 runs from Prestwich village to Kersal, Agecroft, Pendlebury, Swinton, Monton and Eccles.[1]
