Heiden is a municipality in the district of Borken in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It is located approximately 5 km east of Borken. The three districts are called Leblich, Dorfbauernschaft and Nordick. In Leblich there were many windmills built in the last 8 years. 2006 the German president Horst Köhler visited Heiden because of the factory Entrup-Haselbach, which sells deep-frozen bakery products. The catholic Reverend since 2003 is Peter Schneiders.

The City Centre (4th district) is called Ortskern by the native inhabitants.
