Hellinsia ishiyamanus is a moth of the Pterophoridae family that is known from Japan (Hokkaido, Honshu), Korea and China.

The wingspan is about 19 millimetres (0.75 in)[1] and the length of the forewings is 10โ€“11 millimetres (0.39โ€“0.43 in).

The larvae feed on Artemisia vulgaris. They fold a cleft leaf of the host plant to form a tent-like structure. They eat the folded leaf from the inside, leaving the upper epidermis untouched. A single larva may fold one or two leaves.
