Herbaspirillum soli is a gram negative[3] betaproteobacteria from the genus Herbaspirillum which was isolated from an old volcanic mountain soil on Tenerife on the Canary Islands.[3] H. soli was found with Herbaspirillum canariense and Herbaspirillum aurantiacum together.[4]
